Recent Award: Honourable Mention, Flash Forward 2009
I have been named an Honourable Mention in the 2009 edition
of Flash Forward, an emerging talent competition open to
photographers under the age of 34 from Canada, USA and the UK.
A photograph from my series Nonna Dora's House: Upstairs/Downstairs
will be published in the Flash Forward 2009 book alongside the other
winners and honourable mentions.

Recent Press: The Eyeopener
The Eyeopener, Ryerson's largest independent student
run newspaper, recently ran an article about old family
photographs. This article featured my series Collections,
as well as my photo-collecting hobby.
The story, entitled "Faces change, poses remain the same,"
appears in Volume 42, Issue 12.


New Publication: Wassenaar
A photograph from Nonna Dora's House: Upstairs/Downstairs
has been published in the first issue of Wassenaar, an exciting
new magazine dedicated to promoting the work of emerging
photographers, among other things.
My image is included in the Domesticity Redux feature.

Recent Award: Bin Art Award - Updated
An image from my series Collections have been selected to appear
on a recycling bin on the Ryerson University campus. The award was
presented at Maximum Exposure 2008.

The bins are now up, and my image can be seen at the corner
of Yonge and Dundas, as well as the corner of Gould and Bond
within the university campus.
